Exavault is a secure HTTPS web site to allow a secure and convenient method for CU*South clients and internal staff to exchange sensitive files via the Internet.
Purpose
CU*South uses Exavault to facilitate the exchange of sensitive financial information, such as check images. You must be an approved authorized user to use Exavault.
Access Capacity
Access is via the public Internet.
Access is facilitated by use of a standard web browser capable of making HTTPS connections. CU*South does not require any specific browser, other than one that meets the above requirement.
Available Access Time Periods
Typically, authorized users may access Exavault at any time. However, CU*South does not guarantee that Exavault will be available at any given time. Additionally, CU*South reserves the right to restrict access to Exavault to specific times of day or days of the week. CU*South does not back up data on the Exavault. The server should not be used for storage of data.
Exavault Accounts
In order for any user to gain remote access to Exavault, CU*South management must create an account with appropriate privileges. The account includes both a user name and a unique password. This network account will only allow the user access to the approved Exavault folder authorized by CU*South management.
Exavault access is controlled by one’s user name and password. Passwords will be determined by CU*South management when the account is created. Passwords should be changed on initial log in and on a periodic basis.
Requesting Access
Requests for access by clients and internal staff members will be tracked using the Exavault Secure File Transfer Acceptable Use Agreement Form.
Security and Monitoring
A log of remote-access activity will be reviewed on a regular basis by CU*South Management.
Fees and Charges
At this time this service is provided to CU*South clients free of charge.
