We've been informed that on Wednesday, 1/15/25, FIS experienced a power outage, which affected multiple products. FIS is currently in the recovery process. See below for a list of impacted products:

- FIS Recon files
- Online Completion Messages
OTB Credit Cards:
- FIS Base2000 Balance & Status
- Certegy-1 Balance & Status
- Certegy-2 Balance & Status

**UPDATE 1/23/2025 4:00 PM CT** FIS has informed us of the following updates for OTB credit cards:
FIS technical teams have confirmed that the credit application systems (Payments One® Credit (P1C), TBS, BASE2000) are accessible. FIS is processing daily batches normally while they are working through missing payments as outlined below:
BASE2000:
- Monetary files from 1/15 and 1/18 have been staged for batch processing on 1/23. These will be applied and backdated to their original payment date. This includes, Lockbox, internal and external monetary payments.
Payments One Credit:
- Monetary files from 1/15 have been staged for batch processing on 1/23 and will be applied and backdated to their original payment date.
- Identified instances of duplicate payments are being reviewed for remediation.
TBS:
- Monetary files from 1/15 – 1/18 have been staged for batch processing on 1/23, including payments made via eZCardInfo/MyCardStatement.
- As further files are being confirmed, they will be staged for nightly batch processing, then applied and backdated.
FIS is continuing to review impacted products. We will provide additional updates to this alert as FIS provides us with further details.
**UPDATE 2/4/2025 7:50 AM CT** We are hearing that FIS is going to send through missing transactions today for a 5-day time span, and they are unable to tell us when or how many transactions will be sent through our communication link. Depending on how many transactions they send through, it is possible you may see stand-in approvals during this time. Please know our team is watching our queues today and staying on top of what is being sent by FIS.
We also understand that this could cause NSF/ANR fees to post for your members that you might not want to post. One idea, if your credit union wishes to forgive all fees just for today, you could use Tool #558 NSF/OD Transfer Configuration (select Overdraft protection & NSF configuration) to update fee amounts on all your Dividend applications. Then repeat the process to reactivate fees after the transactions come in. The one concern is that we don’t know when FIS will send the transactions through. Meaning if you turn them off now and back on before you go home today and they send through the transactions at 9:00 pm CT, fees might occur. Should you opt to turn off fees, we recommend you try to push FIS for timing to better control this process.
**UPDATE 2/7/2025 10:45 AM CT** We understand FIS did push a batch of card completions on 02/04/2025. However, credit unions have indicated that they were still missing transactions. We also heard that FIS pushed a batch of card completions on 01/24/2025, which we have verified that, for several of our credit unions, these did not come to CU*SOUTH for posting.
If your credit union believes that you are missing transactions, we recommend you reach out to your FIS representative.
