SonicWALL recently published a Security Advisory related to Gen 7 and newer firewalls with SSLVPN enabled. After further investigation, it was determined that the threat is not tied to a new vulnerability. Instead, it is associated with a previously disclosed issue that has already been addressed through recent firmware updates.
To further strengthen security, we are implementing SonicWALL’s recommended hardening steps for SSLVPN users. These measures are proactive and intended to reduce exposure to potential threats, even if those vulnerabilities have already been patched.
We’ll continue to monitor the situation closely and take appropriate actions to ensure your environment remains secure.
