We are aware of an intermittent issue affecting some Fiserv Android users when attempting to access CardHub. Impacted members may see a generic “unknown error” message or be unable to open CardHub. This issue is specific to the Fiserv CardHub Android SDK and does not appear to affect iOS users.
Based on our production data, this behavior is occurring for approximately 20% of Android users. When the issue occurs, CardHub cannot be accessed until the condition clears. Some members have reported success after clearing the app’s cache, while others have found the issue resolves on its own. If members report this issue, clearing the app’s cache may temporarily restore access, but results are not guaranteed.
CU*SOUTH has provided Fiserv with log data and error details from our production environment, and we have performed all app-side steps available to us. At this time, further progress, guidance, and a long-term fix are dependent on updates and direction from Fiserv.
No action is required from your credit union at this time. We will share updates as soon as Fiserv provides additional information or recommended next steps.
