Mobile Text Banking allows members to text message request and receive text message replies. They can also select to have their e-Alerts in the form of a text message. Additionally, members can create custom transfer codes to easily transfer funds between accounts.
To enable mobile text banking and Mobile Text Banking transfers, you must check the 'I want to activate two-way text banking and one-way text alerts' box found under the Text Banking option in Tool # 569: Online/Mobile/Text Banking VMS Config. If you would like your members to perform transfers via Text Banking, you will need to check the 'Allow transfers via text banking' box as well.
- You will then need to complete Mobile Text Fee Introduction screen (to compose an explanation of your Mobile Text Banking fee structure. This will appear above the fee listing when the member enrolls online) and Mobile Text Banking Fee Configuration screen to complete the activation
