How to Deactivate Service Charge Programs

Should the Credit Union decide to disable any service charges, you can temporarily disable the program via Tool # 810: Service Charge Configuration, without having to delete or remove the program. (Simply reactivate the program when ready). 

Deactivate Service Charge Configurations for Account and Transaction Service Changes

1. Launch Tool 810: Service Charge Configuration
2. Fill the circle for the applicable service charge (either Account or Transaction)
3. Click the forward arrow
4. Select the charge program you wish to disable
5. Click 'Program Settings and Criteria'
6. Check the box next to 'Activate this service charge program'
   • This will disable the already activated program. 
7. Verify that the checkbox is now blank. 
8. Click 'Save/Done'

Deactivate Service Charge Configurations for Minimum Balance Service Charges

 Tool 810, Service Charge Configuration:

1. Launch Tool 810: Service Charge Configuration
2. Fill the circle for Minimum Balance Service Charge. 
3. Click the forward arrow
4. Select the charge program you wish to disable
5. Click 'Change'
6. Check the box next to 'Activate this service charge program'
   • This will disable the already activated program. 
7. Verify that the checkbox is now blank. 
8. Click 'Save/Done' 

***When you are ready to reactivate the program(s), follow the steps above rechecking the 'Activate this service charge program' box on the programs that were disabled. ***
