As part of the 26.05 release, updates were made to online banking password requirements and temporary password generation.
Password Requirements
Online banking passwords must now be a minimum of 8 characters.
Temporary Password Format
Temporary passwords now follow this format: Four‑digit birth year (or charter year) + first two letters of the member’s last name (or business name), no spaces, all caps.
Example: John Smith, DOB 1/1/1975 → 1975SM
If a member is unable to log in using the temporary password, please reset the password again and have them attempt the login once more.
